Elynor Liu

Elynor Liu by Ted SealeyI am a PhD student in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sydney. I am currently studying discrete Painlevé equations under the supervision of Prof. Nalini Joshi. I look at the solutions of these equations by using asymptotics. I am also interested in the associated linear equations, i.e. Lax pairs, the corresponding flows and special solutions of discrete and continuous Painlevé equations, as well as the geometry behind these.

I completed my honours degree in 2012, supervised by Prof. Nalini Joshi, studying Darboux transformation on nonlinear differential equations.
